A huge thank-you to Rajeev and team for being always ready to come to rescue with snake issues, even the trickiest ones! Rescuing a krait that had fallen into a small but deep open well - preventing it from being killed by workers who had been called for a pump repair - was no mean deal. It took two half-days, a lot of creativity, patience and finally a moment of luck for the team to capture the venomous snake for release in a safe place. Incidentally, Rajeev mentioned that they would welcome new members in the team!
After many years, Vanitha left Pour Tous yesterday to take another job, she was always nice, smart, efficient as well as a skilled kolam drawer, a warm and big thx to her... Best wishes for her new job...
The Cultural Centre of India was inaugurated on November 14, 2015 by Ambassador of India, H.E. Mr. P.S. Raghavan at a ceremony held in the Cultural and Educational Park «Ethnomir» near Moscow. A statue of Swami Vivekananda sculpted by Mr. Alexei Leonov and also unveiled on the occasion.
A big thank-you to the facilitators of the latest Aspiration week, Rakhal and team - Beatrice, Karen, Boomi, Veronique, Sheba and Leena - for a week for which I cannot find adequate words, except that it was an amazing gift, beyond any expectation I could have had. In decades of being connected to Auroville one way or another, this experience felt to me to come as close as I've ever felt to a touch of the Auroville that called us all here, the Auroville of our hearts' joined dreams, hopes, longings and aspirations...

Laura, Chris and big brother, Kai, are happy to announce the arrival of our little boy Ari.
He arrived early on Thursday 24th at home after a short and sweet labour attended by midwife superteam Hilde and Auradha.
