Thanks to the organizers of the I.Z. Re Dedication. As it was suggested,during the Bonfire, it seems that this Celebraiions, that bring an space of togetherness , have to be done more often in that place . It is the second time that, after a gathering there ( the first was on the 11-12-13 ), one of the wishes was for water ... and, in both cases, we got it, unexpected, on the following day.
The CYCLE PATH from Town Hall to Gaia has been rerouted and is NOW open . From Gaia side follow the path along the old route .You will enter the compound of SAIIER where you will wind your way to the other side and exit through what will be the entrance for the Cycle Path and Motorcycles for SAIIER traffic only
Both entrances will have a cow grill when the landscaping is finished .

I hope more artists from Woodstock and the Hudson Valley will make it to Auroville in the coming years along with the return of Bill, Livia and Miranda who so very much enjoyed their visit.
The key to the future of the world is finding the optimistic stories and letting them be known.
A big thank you to the community for supporting the Water Maintenance Service in the recent vote. They have struggled and suffered for a long time and were given a bad name. It was a very difficult time for them and many groups were involved, but now it is clear that the truth has been acknowledged. They are a worthy and valuable service in Auroville and deserve better. We hope that the future will be happy and bright without fights of this kind.
The RAS would like to express humble thanks to the individuals from the community that stepped up to dedicate their time and significant abilities to supporting the Residents' Assembly Service and its work.

Thank you to all who volunteer for minutes, weeks, years and decades. Its your spirit of volunteering, of giving once or continuously which builds Auroville.
The volume of volunteering far exceeds the "financial budget". If measurable it would be at least 5 or 10 times the amount of the money economy.
We are delighted to share that one year ago Auroorchard began the process of organic conversion, and stopped using any chemical input. Among countless other steps, we created an experimental free range for 100 hens in October of 2013. Since then, they now can scratch the ground, peck the grass and catch insects ... their health condition has improved.
