a very short update on the Honesty Desk effort by us all in our Community:

We have done 2 follow-up inventories to date and our efforts together have paid off! :-)

We went from 600.000 loss to 150.000 for the new year inventory and then to 75.000 by end of fiscal year.

Loss is everything from spillage, breaking, expiring veg & fruit, expired products we cannot exchange and theft.

This is a much more acceptable percentage and we sincerely thank you all for your help in dealing with this :-)

after the storm tuesday nite my inverter was blown, my phone was not working, the road from ravena to abri was littered with fallen trees and branches - wednesday morning my neighbor called the solar service and phone service - his inverter and phone also had been blown by the storm - and asked them to please help us - then he went out and started clearing the road - my neighbors in forecomers also worked on the road -through it all the house maintained an aura of harmony thanks in part to the beautiful wind chime from swaram - and by wednesday afternoon the road was clear and the phone rep

This Wednesday there will be the second showing of "Auroville, from Utopia to Reality".It is a Swiss film from 2002. Don't miss it. It is a very beautiful movie. Specially interesting for all those who did not live in Auroville yet at that time.
