During first wave of Covid, I needed to be in a two weeks of home quarantine. Almost every morning Usha (of Mitra GH), one of the members of the Task Force, would come, knock at the doors from outside and ask if I was all right or if I needed any help. Occasionally, I would open the door and from a distance of two meters we will communicate. Once she gave me a small bottle of homeopathic pills, I suppose, for strengthening the immunity.
This year,my son, Jianghao, student of Future School, got admission in reputed Uni. of Groningen,and immediately we were perplexed by the housing issue,this univerity town is also well known for the extreme difficulty of finding a student room,by mid August, he was still scrambling,and worse than all,student hotel and airbnb rooms were also fully booked.
I am sure many join me in thanking Devna along with Arun of PTDC for rising up to the challenges of Covid and food distribution during Anandi's absence at PTDC - always with a smile, efficient, kind and incredibly hard working.
I want to thank everyone who offered help to me yesterday morning when I fell off my bicycle and dislocated my elbow. It was a scary and confusing time but I felt supported and cared for.
I arrived at PIMS less than an hour after the accident. Luckily it was just dislocated so although I have to wear a cast for 3 weeks, it should be fine.
Thank you all so much for handling the situation with care, kindness and with true professionalism. I'm very grateful.
